Salem ALIVE!

Salem ALIVE! is our Sunday morning educational time for children and youth.  Two and three year olds meet in Classroom A.  Children ages four and up gather for a craft or other introductory activity in our Family Life Center, sing upbeat and lively songs, and hear a Bible story presentation done all together.  Bible stories are presented in various ways - sometimes through drama, through storytelling, through images and visuals - we get creative in sharing the Good News with children!  After the larger group time is over, children divide into age-level groups to further explore the story for the day and engage in age-appropriate activities that allow them to respond to God's truth for them.  This year, the study focus for Salem ALIVE! is the Revised Common Lectionary that is used in worship.

Camp Salem

Camp Salem offers children in kindergarten through 5th grade the chance to experience camp without leaving home.  We open each day with worship and lots of camp songs. We experience God's word through Bible study and skits.  We go on field trips and have a week-long service project.  We end our day in worship, led by a different group of campers each afternoon.
