Children's Classes
Salem ALIVE! is our Sunday morning educational time (9:30-10:30 a.m.) for children and youth. Join us this as we offer an exciting opportunity to share the Good News with our children and youth!
Pre K and Elementary Group read Bible stories and respond with a variety of art techniques and expressions. The class is led by Jennifer Martin and meets in the Family Life Center.
Middle School Youth are reading Tatoos on the Heart by Gregory Boyle, a Jesuit priest whose work with Los Angeles gang members has spanned more than two decades. His experiences illustrate the effects of unconditional love in the face of failure, shame and the yearning to feel worthy of God's love. The class meets in Room F and is led by Ada Norman.
High School Youth join Pastor David in the conference Room for an exciting "Summer with Pastor!"
New Classes Beginning on Sept 11!
Preschoolers and Kindergarteners will be taught by Kimberly and Sharla Ray who will be using the SPARK "Activate Faith" resources and the SPARK Story Bible.
First through Fifth Graders will be lead by Judy Boldt, Chris Strane and Kim Winkler who will be using Godly Play.
Middle School Youth will be taught by Kurt Nelson as he explore the Old Testament with them.
High School Youth will meet in Room A to participate in a video study series.
Communion Class
Children may participate, with their parents, in a four-week course offered in the fall and during Lent.

Camp Salem offers children in kindergarten through 5th grade the chance to experience camp without leaving home. We open each day with worship and lots of camp songs. We experience God's word through Bible study and skits. We go on field trips and have a week-long service project. We end our day in worship, led by a different group of campers each afternoon. Check back soon for our 2012 date and plan to have an awesome, fun-filled week!
