God in Our Every Day

Sept. 5 - 8 & 11 a.m.

Caution!  God is at work, and the Spirit may be "messing" with our worship on Sept. 5.  Our Labor Day weekend worship will be a break from the norm.

The theme in our worship will be discovering what God is up to in our everyday lives.

As part of this unique celebration, please bring with you a symbol of your trade or your everyday.  It doesn't matter what your symbol is as long as you can get it through the doors.  If you are a stay-at-home person, bring a stroller, a diaper bag, vacuum cleaner, a computer, whatever.  If you're a medical person, bring a lab coat or a stethoscope.  If you're a rancher, bring a tractor (or something smaller).  If you're a garbage person, well, you get the idea!

The point is that the symbols will remind us all that God is at work in our labor and our everyday lives.

Also on Sunday, Sept. 5, the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will be on site for our holiday blood drive.  If you are able to donate, please give the gift of life.  Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall or click on www.giveblood.org  to sign up as a digital donor.
