Our Wednesday evening schedule in Lent (beginning Feb. 22):

6:00 p.m.       Lenten Supper served in the Fellowship Hall (until 6:45 p.m.)

7:30 p.m.       Lenten Evening Prayer (Nave)

 

We began our Lenten observances with our Ash Wednesday liturgy Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m.  The order of worship is simple and solemn with the imposition of ashes on the somberest day in the Christian church year.

 

The Holy Week schedule will follow the well-known pattern beginning with special services for Palm/Passion Sunday and continuing with a Maundy Thursday Eucharist, the Tre Ore beginning at noon on Good Friday and Prayer around the Cross on  Good Friday evening, and an Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.  Please check back soon for specific information as we get closer to Holy Week.

 

Our Easter celebration begins on Saturday, April 7, with the Great Vigil of Easter at 7:30 p.m.  We continue our celebration on Easter Sunday with worship at 10:00 a.m.   Please note:  We will only have one morning service.
